Solutions continued
Although at this time drug abuse is a relentless problem there are ways that can help the problem and put the fire out. It is believed that the best way to solve the drug abuse problem is to educate people and bring awareness to the situation. When people finally learn the dangers and misfortunes that come along with drug abuse they will think twice before doing it. Most drug abuse starts at a young age because they are not aware of the dangers of abusing these substances. If we can quickly educate people about this serious problem it will hopefully stop the problem from continuing to the next generation (Karol).
A huge step in overcoming drug addiction is first admitting that there is a problem. Once it's decided that there is a problem don't be scared of offending the individual and at first they will be very defensive. Secure trust by ensuring that they will not lose their job then take action to fix the problem. At first it is a very delicate problem to handle because the individual will be having a lot of mixed emotions. Making it even harder is the withdrawal symptoms that can range from headaches to full mood swings and serious muscle pain. If the attitude stays positive they will have a higher chance of safely overcoming drug addiction and bring the world a step closer to stopping it from traveling to the next generation (Karol). When a person begins treatment they must face all personal and emotional features of their life. They also have to study the quality of their connection between friends and family. The process of overcoming addiction is sometimes more psychologically challenging then it is physically challenging. With the help of dedicated family and friends the process will be a lot easier for the individual and the people around her. If more and more people seek help the problem of drug abuse will start to dwindle until it is just a memory of a spark (Greenberg). |
